Introduction

Bhide & Hall Architects, P.A. is the largest architectural firm in Clay County and is incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida.

The firm has experienced steady growth and enjoys a diversified practice, with projects ranging across many types of construction and aesthetics.

Building and Life Safety codes determine the minimum requirements for any project. The firm has maintained a comprehensive understanding of the codes since inception.

Overview Evaluate Document Manage

An overview of the architectural services we provide.

Schematic Design

Preparation of preliminary design sketches based on your program of requirements and budget are created to explore and illustrate possible options. An agreement is made on the design that works best in terms of site planning, function, quality, cost and appearance.

Charrette

The client may opt to arrange a charrette to finalize the needs of the client in the form of a day-long meeting in which options and concepts are drafted as needed for discussion and exploration.

Design Development

Refines the agreed upon schematic design for a clearer definition of the scope and quality of the finished project. Further cost projections will determine how closely the design conforms to the budget expectations, or if any adjustments are required.

Construction Documents

When the design concepts have been decided the architect prepares working drawings and specifications. These are required to obtain building permits and bids, and to guide the contractor in construction.

Bidding and
Negotiation

Bhide & Hall can advise you on your choice of contractor, usually done by calling for competitive bids. We will help evaluate the bids and select the contractor, then prepare the necessary contracts.

Construction and
Contract Administration

We will consult with and advise you during construction. On-site visits will determine if construction is proceeding in general accordance with the contract, and that the design, materials, and workmanship meet acceptable standards.
