Ground-up new construction K-5 school in Clay County, Florida. The school includes 48 classrooms with a capacity for 851 students, state-of-the-art technology in each classroom and lab space, a shared cafeteria and auditorium, and secured play areas. The facility utilizes a pre-engineered metal building/structural frame to reduce construction time. Low maintenance materials include the use of metal roofing and interior/exterior masonry walls.
Safety and security were top priority during design. Spring Park Elementary is among many area schools to implement the new SAFE (Signal Alert for Education) System allowing teachers to quickly contact first responders in the event of an emergency. Interior doors feature automated lock technology securing the door upon closure.
Spring Park Elementary is a prototype school design constructed in three locations in Clay County, including Discovery Oaks Elementary.
